Hello! I’m Olivia
I’m so glad you found your way to The Magic Memo. I’m 26 years old, a lifelong Disney fan, and most recently a Disney World Annual Passholder. I started this blog to share my travels, tips, and a little extra magic with you as I spend the year exploring the most magical place on earth.
Disney World has always been more than just rides and characters for me; it’s a place filled with heart and unforgettable moments. I’ve watched kids light up with wonder during Happily Ever After, seen inclusivity celebrated on stage at Festival of the Lion King, and even shed a tear (or two) during Fantasmic. For me, Disney is proof that there’s more to life than just work and sleep—there’s joy to be experienced, and Disney reminds me to step out of the grind and into delight.
By day, I work a 9–5 in communications, so I’m not at Disney every week. In fact, I used to think Disney trips were out of reach for someone in her twenties, just starting out in her career. But I’ve learned that Disney World is for everyone, not just families with kids. It can be a perfect destination for young adults, friend groups, or solo travelers. And the best part? You don’t have to spend thousands to enjoy it. I’ve taken trips for under $1,000, and they were every bit as magical.
That’s why I created The Magic Memo: to help you plan trips that fit your budget, your lifestyle, and your love for Disney. Whether you want to go all out or keep things simple, you’ll find resort recommendations, park day itineraries, outfit inspiration, and tips for making the most of your trip – all without the overwhelm.
I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to celebrate your next adventure with you. Follow along for more “magic memos,” and let’s make every trip unforgettable!
“Happiness is a state of mind. It’s just according to the way you look at things.” -Walt Disney
